Client projects

Nuance Flow, Unipessoal Lda retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless a confidentiality clause explicitly restricts this.
Third-party materials
Projects may incorporate licensed fonts, stock assets, plugins, or frameworks subject to their own licence terms. Clients are responsible for ongoing licence compliance where applicable.
07 Client Responsibilities
Clients engaging our services agree to:
- Provide accurate information, timely feedback, and required materials within agreed deadlines
- Ensure they hold necessary rights to content, branding, and assets supplied for use in projects
- Designate an authorised point of contact for approvals and communication
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule outlined in the project proposal
Delays caused by incomplete information or late client approvals may affect project timelines and are not the responsibility of Nuance Flow, Unipessoal Lda.
08 Fees and Payment
Service fees are quoted on a project-by-project basis and confirmed in writing before work commences. Unless stated otherwise in the project agreement:
- Invoices are payable within the period specified on the invoice
- Late payments may incur interest in accordance with applicable Portuguese law
- Work may be paused if payment is overdue beyond a reasonable grace period
- Deposits paid for scheduled work are non-refundable once production has begun, unless otherwise agreed
09 Warranties and Disclaimers
We strive to deliver services to a professional standard and in accordance with agreed specifications. However:
- The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted access or error-free operation
- We do not guarantee specific marketing results, search engine rankings, or revenue outcomes, as these depend on factors beyond our control

10 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nuance Flow, Unipessoal Lda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or our services, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific project shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for that project under the relevant agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by Portuguese or European Union law.
11 Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat non-public business information shared during an engagement as confidential, unless disclosure is required by law or the information becomes publicly available through no fault of the receiving party.
Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the service relationship for a period defined in the project agreement, or for two years where no specific period is stated.
12 Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement according to the termination clauses set out in the project contract. Where no specific clause exists, either party may terminate with written notice if the other party materially breaches the agreement and fails to remedy the breach within a reasonable period.
Upon termination, the client remains responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date, as outlined in the relevant agreement.
13 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable EU law.
14 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or website functionality. The revised version will be published on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
